I wanted to thank the wonderful team of Stoma Nurses who looked after me at a most difficult time.Kind patient Lucy who taught me how to care for my Stoma ,and her colleagues Fiona and Gill who ensured that I continued on the right path.These ladies are vital for anyone with a new Stoma and I can’t praise their kindness and expertise enough.We are so lucky to have them here in Harrogate.

There is nothing I can think of.I am very happy with the care I am receiving

This nurse has been very supportive ,answered any and all my questions. I can.not think how she could have been better.A very pleasant person, who gives me cheer whenever she visit.

Jade Hurst came to visit me as the skin around my stoma had become very sore and itchy . Jade order me new bags which was better for my stoma and cream for my skin all of which are all good and told me about a belt I could wear as well . Jade made me feel very relax about asking any questions and told to phone or email if I need anything .A very lovely lady thank you . Just got to say I have not seen a stoma nurse in 40 years

The care I was given was very good,it can be a very emotional time going through a stoma op. and my nurse Jane got me through that as well as the physical side of dealing with it.

Service was expert. Felt very secure by every member of staff involved. Communication between department excellent rate very highly all treatments received.

I have an irreversible iliostomy . This was done 6 months ago at Harrogate Hospital under the surgeon Miss McNaught. Gill Wilson and her stoma care team have been amazing . Answering phone messages promptly and giving advice over the phone and 3 times I have had a clinic appointment the same day . I have had amazing treatment all round and many forward appointments. A stoma is for life and reassurance was given .

Nothing really, my needs have always been met in the most kindly way .
